Night Hunting Package

6 Nights: 3 Night-hunts + 1 Day-hunt   

 

WEDOHUNT offers an unforgettable hunting experience under the African starry sky.  When the sun sets over the South African landscape, a whole new world is revealed.  The sounds change and the nocturnal animal’s step into the light - or rather the darkness.  If you have not yet experienced the exciting hunt at night, now is the time to read on:

 

Hunting at night is a unique experience where the sounds and atmosphere take you on an intense hunt. Our experienced PHs and hunting team start preparations well in advance of your arrival at our hunting areas. They put out bait, set up game cameras and keep a close eye on what comes by. In this way, we get an idea of which bait sites the animals use and maybe even give you an idea of when the animals show up.

 

  • Preparation is the key to success when hunting at night, and you should be prepared to spend at least three nights in the field.

  • The permit to hunt the specific nocturnal species.

  • Requires a South African permit which must be applied for no later than five weeks before your arrival. The permit is paid.

  • Regardless of whether you put down the trophy or not but the experience is totally worth it.

  • You can combine night hunting with regular day hunting.

  • Transfer to and from Hoedspruit Airport

  • 6 night’s stay in double room with private toilet and shower

  • All meals during the day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner)

  • Transport during the hunt (4x4) 

  • 3 nights hunts + 1 day’s hunt with PH 2:1 

  • Weapon rental and bullets (moderate)

  • Big 5 game drive 

  • Big 5 sundowner 

  • Skinner, tracker and felt preparation of the trophies and skins.

Please Note: ​ Paying observer got a Big 5 safari program included in our private part of Kruger National Park: 5 game drives, breakfast picnic and a sundowner with sparkling water and snacks.

Additional Information:

In addition to a few, but selected packages, we have one fixed price per hunter for hunting, accommodation, meals during the day at the lodge and during the hunt as well as specially selected activities. It is also included that a paying companion can join the hunt; whether it is the spouse or the mother-in-law, it is up to you, but we actually believe that hunting experiences in these surroundings - magnificent as they are - should be shared.

Our hunting package are made so that it can be combined with family vacation, which is why there is also an endless number of Big 5 safari activities and other nearby opportunities in addition to hunting. The hunt takes place with our very experienced, professional hunters who have chosen their profession based on interest and the joy of hunting and nature conservation. We are often present at our lodges in South Africa and we and our dedicated team will make sure it will be a life time experience.  

 We primarily go hunting in our own areas as well as exceptionally neighboring properties, if the trophy you are looking for, is not to be found in our own areas. Our hunting areas are situated in the Greater Kruger Region and our areas is approximated 30 000 ha in total.  Both our hunting areas are close to your accommodation in the African bush.
